Locum Physician

Salary: $151 to 170

Part-time or Full-time

Hours – 9 am to 5:30 pm weekdays

As part of our team, you will:

• Practice in an environment where culture is actively integrated into care delivery
• Have access to ongoing training and learning opportunities related to Indigenous experiences, history, and culturally safe care
• Contribute to a model that prioritizes holistic wellness—physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and community in a low-barrier, inclusive setting

You will be supported by a strong inter-professional clinical team
, including:

• 2 Registered Nurses
• 2 Medical Receptionists
• Social Worker

You’ll also have on-site access to specialists
, including:

• OB/GYN
• Respiratory Specialist

Beyond the clinic, Wabano offers a true hub of integrated services designed to meet the diverse needs of clients, with seamless referrals to internal programs and trusted community partners.

• Mental Health Team
  • Clinical Therapist
  • Addictions Counsellors
  • Youth Workers
• Intake Team
• Housing Team
• Culture Team
• Programs Team, including:
  • Health Promotion
  • Diabetes Support & Prevention
  • Palliative Care
• No billing requirements – focus entirely on patient care
• Use of PS Suites for electronic medical records
• Combination of scheduled and walk-in coverage
• Clinic currently undergoing exciting expansion

• Registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) in good standing
