SchoolElmdale Public School, established in 1928 and recently renovated, has a staff of 40 dedicated educators. The team specializes in French as a Second Language, Special Education, Reading, and Music, working collaboratively across various committees to promote student achievement and enhance school life.

EligibilityAll occasional teachers are eligible to apply for long‑term occasional postings for which they are qualified.

Application ProcessApplications will be assessed according to the requirements and qualifications outlined in this posting. A minimum of three qualified applicants will be offered an interview, including:
- At least three (3) teachers currently employed as an occasional teacher with the OCDSB who meet the OCT qualifications and criteria.
- If fewer than three qualified applicants apply, all qualified applicants will be interviewed.
- It is expected that a teacher who accepts an assignment shall complete the assignment as posted and apply only to vacancies they will accept an interview for.
