As part of a major expansion of its research and academic programs in pharmaceutical sciences, the at the University of Ottawa invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the , with a focus on pharmacology.

We are seeking candidates with expertise in teaching and a strong research focus in pharmacology, broadly defined. Areas of interest include but are not limited to: molecular and cellular pharmacology, pharmacogenomics, clinical pharmacology, neuropharmacology, pharmacomicrobiomics (microbiome–drug interactions), toxicology, drug metabolism, and translational pharmacology.
The successful candidate will:

Skills requirements:
D/PhD, BScPharm/PhD, or equivalent degrees in a relevant field.
A demonstrated commitment to teaching and graduate training.
A solid record of and commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration.
Excellent communication skills in both English and French. Active knowledge of one’s second official language (French or English) is a requirement for tenure. English French bilingualism is an asset
