Hourly Rate:

AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $31.89 ou/or $50.25 )

The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Requirements and Nature of Work:

Assistance with archival and historical research related to a creative project rooted in the prehistory and history of a major American industrial region.

Locate, review, and synthesize primary and secondary sources from libraries, archives, and online repositories, particularly in relation to 18th-century Moravian settlement and its relation to slavery and Indigenous displacement.

Organize, annotate, and maintain research notes to support ongoing creative development.

Prepare concise research summaries, timelines, and reference lists to facilitate project planning.

Contribute to the development of pedagogical materials (e.g., lesson plans, learning guides, contextual background documents) informed by the project's context and genre.

Collaborate with the project lead to identify gaps in research and propose strategies for further investigation.
