Hourly Rate:

AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $31.89 ou/or $50.25 )

The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Requirements and Nature of Work:

  • Assistance with archival and historical research related to a creative project rooted in the prehistory and history of a major American industrial region.
  • Locate, review, and synthesize primary and secondary sources from libraries, archives, and online repositories, particularly in relation to 18th-century Moravian settlement and its relation to slavery and Indigenous displacement.
  • Organize, annotate, and maintain research notes to support ongoing creative development.
  • Prepare concise research summaries, timelines, and reference lists to facilitate project planning.
  • Contribute to the development of pedagogical materials (e.g., lesson plans, learning guides, contextual background documents) informed by the project's context and genre.
  • Collaborate with the project lead to identify gaps in research and propose strategies for further investigation.
