The teaching and pedagogical innovation will focus on the following areas: human physiology, pathophysiology and anatomy. The teaching responsibilities will require an active knowledge of French.

The Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine comprises over 100 faculty members and features a vibrant research atmosphere. It addresses fundamental questions in basic biomedical research and has strong links to translational and clinical research. The successful candidate will also be expected to establish and maintain a vigorous program of independent, externally funded research and contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching programs.
Title of the position: Assistant Professor. The higher rank of Associate Professor will only be considered should the successful candidate possess an appropriate level of experience and commensurate achievements, and according to budgetary approval.

Salary scale for an assistant professor starts at $99,377 (as of May 1, 2025)

Teaching accomplishments, awards and accolades that demonstrate excellent teaching and a commitment to excellent pedagogical inquiry and research.
Excellent communication skills in both French and English. Active knowledge of the other official language in Canada is a requirement for tenure. French English bilingualism is an asset.
