Full-Time Education Coordinator Wanted

Join our team at Oxford Learning Barrhaven and play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our centre.

This is an in-person position based at our Barrhaven location. Applicants must be able to commute to the centre reliably. Please note that this is not a remote or online role

As the Education Coordinator
, you will play an integral role in the daily operations of the centre. This position involves supervising teachers, collaborating with staff, communicating with parents, and supporting students to ensure an exceptional learning experience.

Working closely with the Centre Director, you will serve as a key member of the leadership team with responsibilities that include:

• Guiding prospective parents through Oxford Learning programs and answering inquiries
• Organizing and managing student and teacher schedules
• Setting up and administering student assessments
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized learning programs
• Building relationships within the community (schools, sports teams, and local businesses)
• Maintaining regular communication with parents and meeting with them to discuss student progress
• Creating a positive, energetic, and engaging learning environment each day
• Mastering the Oxford Learning teaching philosophy and coaching instructional staff to uphold our standards

• Minimum of a university degree (coursework in Social Sciences, Languages, Mathematics, or Business is preferred)
• Bilingualism is strongly preferred; proficiency in both English and French is considered a strong asset

• Experience working in an educational environment with medium to large student populations
• Experience in a business or administrative setting is considered an asset
• Experience managing billing cycles is required
• Strong computer proficiency, including MS Office and online communication platforms
• Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills; sales experience is preferred

: $20 - $22 / hour (depending on experience)

Schedule
: NON-NEGOTIABLE

• Monday - Thursday: 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm
• Saturday: 8:30 pm - 3:00 pm
