What You'll Be Doing
  • Manage classroom and provide instruction according to lesson plans as prepared by the classroom teacher.
  • Provide classroom environment which promotes active learning.
  • Assist the teacherwithall aspects of the daily routine, including distributing and collecting supplies, keeping attendance records, lunchroom duty, recess, etc.
  • Work with students to help reinforce learning objectives.
  • Adhere to all Grandview School board policies and procedures.
  • Use appropriate judgment to act in the best interest of students at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the appropriate administrator.
  • Maintaina highlevel of ethical behavior and confidentiality.
  • Observe and utilize reasonable and professional medical/safety precautions to include positioning children in a safe and secure manner.
What We Offer
  • Salary: $175.00 per day / $25.00 per hour
  • Substitute position, called in to work as needed.

  • Have anAA Degree or Higher from an accredited college or university

Work Environment

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some climbing and balancing, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and some fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 34% sitting, 33% walking, and 33% standing. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and in a generally hazard free environment.
