Job Overview
Fundamental mathematical skills required for problem solving and decision making in business through use of mathematical models and specialized techniques, including functions, equation-solving techniques, differential and integral calculus, exponential and partial derivatives and their applications in economic functions.
ResponsibilitiesTeaching the course on mathematical and quantitative modeling, covering topics such as functions, sequences, series, calculus, differential equations, and algebra. The course extensively uses business contextualization, real-world cases, and examples. Instruction is provided through synchronous online live sessions on Wednesday from 13:00‑14:30 and Friday from 11:30‑13:00.
Requirements- Master's or Ph.D. degree (Ph.D. preferred) with a specialization directly related to mathematical or quantitative modeling and their applications.
- Thorough academic and teaching experience in the topics of the course (functions, sequences, series, calculus, differential equations, algebra, etc.).
- Familiarity with applications of quantitative approaches to management.
- Experience teaching in business-contextualized learning environments.
- Knowledge and firsthand experience of quantitative trends in key organizational and managerial functions such as analytics, finance, marketing, and operations.
Online synchronous live instruction. Wednesday 13:00‑14:30 and Friday 11:30‑13:00.
