In this vital role, you will develop and adjust curriculum according to industry demands, facilitating clear learning outcomes for students. You will be responsible for teaching courses, evaluating progress, and mentoring students, fostering excellence in both practical skills and theoretical knowledge. Additionally, you will engage with the community to promote the program and enhance its visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Redesign and innovate plumbing coursework and curriculum
• Conduct scheduled teaching sessions for diverse student groups
• Assess and provide feedback on student performance
• Lead departmental meetings and community liaison activities
• Exemplify the College's values in all aspects of work
Requirements:
• 306A Red Seal Plumber license required
• At least 5 years of relevant industry experience
• 2 years of teaching in a postsecondary context preferred
• Up-to-date knowledge of educational trends
• Strong mentoring and leadership abilities
