Located within the Architecture, Construction & Civil department, this position requires a 403A Red Seal General Carpenter Certificate and a minimum of five years of industry experience. As a professor, you'll design courses, consult with stakeholders, and deliver classes in multiple terms. Engage with students through tutoring and academic advising to facilitate their growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and update General Carpentry program courses
• Consult with faculty, employers, and students
• Define and evaluate learning outcomes
• Incorporate educational technologies in curriculum
• Conduct professional development and revise curricula
Requirements:
• 403A Red Seal General Carpenter Certificate
• Minimum five years of General Carpentry experience
• At least two years of teaching experience preferred
• Knowledge in Commercial Estimating and Codes is an asset
• Commitment to continuous improvement in teaching
