This adjunct role features a 3-unit discipline-specific course aimed at supporting students in gaining confidence in English. Instructors are expected to teach primarily in English and prepare students for assessments in both English and French. Candidates should possess substantial ESL teaching experience and a mastery of modern educational technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging ESL lessons to promote written and verbal proficiency

• Guide students through discipline-specific coursework

• Collaborate with students to address language barriers

• Attend mandatory Friday sessions for ADM 2381

• Provide constructive assessment feedback
Requirements:

• Master’s degree in ESL or a related field

• At least two years teaching ESL at the college level

• Familiarity with relevant teaching resources

• Demonstrated knowledge of immersion pedagogy

• Experience teaching ESL at OLBI before 2018
