Join the University of Ottawa to teach Intermediate Spanish I in a part-time instructor capacity. Your expertise in grammar and cultural context will impact students' language skills.
This position is available for the 2026 Fall Semester at the Main Campus. Ideal candidates should possess a Master's in Spanish and knowledge of B1/B2 grammar structures. Your responsibilities will include developing course materials, offering guidance in reading and composition, and managing a hybrid classroom environment with Brightspace. Engage students with both oral and written practice to enhance their proficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Spanish grammar and vocabulary to students
• Develop engaging course materials and activities
• Oversee classroom management and administrative duties
• Implement hybrid teaching methodologies
• Conduct oral and written assessment for students
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Spanish and Doctorate candidacy
• Native or near-native Spanish speaking skills (C2)
• Background in teaching hybrid courses
• Proficiency in French and English
• Strong organizational and leadership capabilities
