Position: Intermediate Spanish I Instructor Needed
Join the University of Ottawa as an Instructor for Intermediate Spanish I in the Fall 2026 semester. Engage students in Spanish grammar and cultural appreciation through in-person classes.

In this role, you will provide instruction on Spanish grammar, reading, and vocabulary. The position demands a proficient educator who can manage classes effectively while implementing practices that promote understanding of Hispanic literature and culture. Candidates should be adept in both administrative responsibilities and collaborative teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging Spanish language instruction in person

• Enrich curriculum with cultural insights and literature

• Foster students’ understanding of grammar and vocabulary

• Utilize hybrid teaching methods and digital resources

• Conduct assessments and feedback sessions for students

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Spanish with teaching experience

• Enrollment as a full-time doctoral student

• Native or near-native Spanish speaker (C2 Level)

• Bilingual proficiency in French and English

• Experience with hybrid and digital teaching platforms
