Transform lives as a Full-Time Educational Assistant at RI Baker Middle School in Coaldale, starting August 21, 2026. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support students’ educational needs.
Become part of the Palliser School Division, which values empathy and integrity. This role focuses on assisting students in Grades 4 to 6, particularly those with complex medical needs. Your responsibilities will include implementing Individual Program Plans and encouraging student independence while fostering an inclusive atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide care for children with complex medical needs
• Collaborate on Individual Program Plans with the learning team
• Offer educational instruction and technology support
• Communicate regularly with parents and support staff
• Facilitate student self-esteem and positive interactions
Requirements:
• Post-secondary certificate in childcare or healthcare
• Standard First Aid and CPR certification required
• Experience with students having complex needs
• Strong interpersonal skills and confidentiality maintenance
• Successful Criminal Reference Check within three months
