Conservation Biology. Teach essential topics that address biodiversity decline and inspire future scientists.
This position is for a part-time professor to teach the course 'Biologie de la conservation des espèces' in Winter 2027. Applicants must have a Doctorate in biology and demonstrate successful teaching experience at the university level. The role includes delivering lectures, preparing assessments, and participating in departmental activities that enhance the educational experience for students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct lectures on biodiversity and conservation
• Create and distribute course materials to students
• Evaluate and provide feedback on student assessments
• Engage in departmental meetings to enhance course delivery
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements:
• Doctorate in biology or relevant discipline
• Experience in university-level teaching
• Proficient in French for effective instruction
• Commitment to equity and inclusion in education
• Availability for the scheduled class times each week
