This exciting opportunity at the Faculty of Arts requires a committed instructor to lead the course MUS
2194-A00. With a small class size of 12, you will effectively engage students in comprehensive music dictation and sight-singing concepts. Candidates with a doctoral degree in theory/composition will be prioritized, especially those with conducting experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach and develop sight-singing skills in students
• Manage and organize teaching laboratories efficiently
• Coordinate and support multiple class sections
• Assess and guide student learning outcomes
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive classroom
Requirements:
• Doctoral degree in theory/composition strongly preferred
• At least five years of relevant teaching experience
• Experience with course and laboratory coordination
• Excellent English communication skills
• Additional language skills are advantageous
