We are seeking a passionate academic to lead the Intermediate Spanish I course (ESP
2991) within the Faculty of Arts. Successful applicants will provide students with a comprehensive learning experience that includes grammar, vocabulary, and cultural insights while utilizing hybrid educational technologies to enhance class interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Spanish grammar and cultural topics to students

• Leverage Brightspace for effective lesson management

• Encourage active participation in both written and oral activities

• Conduct assessments of student learning and progress

• Collaborate with faculty on educational strategies

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Spanish; full-time enrollment in Doctorate program

• Near-native proficiency in Spanish (C2), bilingual in French/English

• Prior experience in language and cultural instruction

• Proficiency in managing a hybrid classroom

• Strong organizational and teamwork skills
