Position: Part-Time Spanish Professor Needed
Assist students in mastering Spanish with the University of Ottawa as a part-time professor for Intermediate Spanish I. This in-person role offers a dynamic course format and a focus on oral and written proficiency.

The University of Ottawa seeks a part-time professor for the Fall 2026 semester to teach Intermediate Spanish I. Candidates should possess a strong background in Spanish grammar, composition, and cultural contexts of Hispanic countries. Additionally, expertise in hybrid teaching formats is crucial for successful student engagement and participation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons covering grammar and comprehensive skills

• Facilitate oral and written practice for students

• Administer class management and administrative duties

Requirements:

• M.A. degree in Spanish and enrolled in a Doctorate Program

• Native or near-native Spanish speaker (C2 level)

• Bilingual in French and English

• Experience in teaching Spanish (B1/B2) effectively
