Course Title
Éducation à la carrière et à la citoyenneté (PED 3555) – Section G200, Main Campus.
PositionRegular Part‑Time Professor – Faculty of Education.
Teaching Responsibilities- Deliver the course “Éducation à la carrière et à la citoyenneté” during the Fall 2026 semester. The course covers the role of the school in guiding students throughout their career choices, various approaches to educational and professional guidance, the theory and practice of civic engagement in local, national and global contexts, financial literacy, critical analysis and issues related to a globalized economy and sustainable development.
- Master’s degree in education required; a doctoral degree in education will be preferred.
- At least one of the following:
- Recent full‑time teaching experience in a school or school‑board administration, including two years of implementing the Ontario curriculum for the course subject with a subject‑area specialist qualification, or a current research dossier, or a recent Ph.D. exam.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the current Ontario Curriculum relevant to the course subject and accompanying Ontario Ministry documents.
- Proven ability to apply the professional practice standards and the Code of Ethics of the Ontario Teachers’ Association.
- An equivalency of experience or qualifications may be considered.
- Adaptation needs will be accommodated upon request.
- Hourly rate: $239.47 (2024‑2025)
- Work hours:
39 per teaching unit - Credits: 3
