:A critical examination of the powerful cultural taboos against aging that characterize contemporary society. This inter-generational course will explore diverse age-positive cultural perspectives on life. Students will engage in reflection, discussion and contemplative practices as strategies to embrace changes that are an inevitable part of life.

Requirements:
Experience of successfully teaching university-level content in the field of Contemplative/Aging/End-of-Life Studies. Preference will be given to an instructor whose own research is within, or closely related to the field of contemplative studies, who has relevant scholarly research and publications, and who has training in meditation/ mindfulness practice.
Teaching mode : bimodal
The course will be co-taught. Two positions of 19.5 hours each are available.
