Position: School Bus Monitor for Student Safety
Ensure a secure transportation experience for students as a School Bus Monitor. Collaborate with drivers while assisting students, especially those with special needs.

As a Bus Monitor, your role is crucial in helping both special and general education students during school bus rides. You will ensure student safety, manage behavior, and assist with necessary medical needs. Mandatory training will equip you with skills for emergency situations and working with wheelchairs to provide essential support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the driver to ensure safety at all times

• Attend safety meetings and participate in training

• Manage wheelchairs and assist during loading/unloading

• Build positive connections with students and families

• Support students with specific behavioral or medical needs

Requirements:

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent

• Capability to work on all school attendance days

• Completion of the required Bus Monitor Training Course

• Strong ability to work with children, especially special needs

• Background check and physical test required

Provide a comforting and safe environment for students while they travel to and from school.
