The University of Ottawa is hiring a Part-Time Professor for the ESL 130 course. This role requires you to instruct students, develop critical thinking through debates, and enhance proficiency in reading and writing. Classes are scheduled from Monday to Friday between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM, making it a flexible teaching opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct students on ESL 130 curriculum

• Develop critical thinking through presentations and debates

• Enhance student proficiency in reading and writing

• Schedule classes during weekday mornings

• Collaborate with fellow educators in team-teaching
Requirements:

• Master’s degree in relevant field

• Minimum of two years ESL teaching experience

• Prior teaching of ESL courses essential

• TESL Certification or equivalent required

• In-person teaching at Main Campus necessary
