Registered Early Childhood Educator - School Age Program
Leaps & Bounds Children’s Centre is a licensed, non‑profit childcare centre with three locations in Arnprior and Renfrew. The Arnprior location is based out of AJ Charbonneau Public School on Baskin Drive.

We offer Toddler, Preschool, Kindergarten and School‑Aged Programs. The available position is for a Registered Early Childhood Educator for the School‑Age program, beginning to mid July 2026 (date to be determined).

Hours:

7:00‑9:30 & 2:30‑5:30, Monday – Friday; 7.5 hours/day on PA Days, Summer Break, etc.

Pay:  $28.00 per hour for qualified candidates (inclusive of all wage grants for qualifying hours) plus 4% holiday pay.

Location:

Arnprior – AJ Charbonneau Public School, Baskin Drive.

Requirements

REC.E. in good standing with the College of E.C.E. for the Early Childhood Educator Positions

Experience working with children in a quality, licensed, integrated childcare centre setting

Current Standard CPR/First Aid (C) plus AED

Proof of up‑to‑date immunizations

Current Vulnerable Sector Check required, within 6 months

Experience with children with special needs considered an asset

Reliable, energetic, and team player

WHIMIS, AODA, CCEYA, ANYPHYLAXIS certificates (we can help a successful candidate secure these certifications)

Knowledge of CCEYA and HDLH
