Georgian College is hiring a Nursing Skills Facilitator in Orangeville to support student learning through organized practice and skill assessments. Utilize your nursing expertise to improve educational outcomes.
This contract role offers up to 24 hours weekly, where you will facilitate skill practice sessions for nursing students and collaborate closely with academic staff. Responsibilities include organizing training sessions, maintaining lab resources and safety compliance, and keeping accurate records on student performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate and organize student nursing skills practice
• Coach students and provide competency feedback
• Manage equipment and training resources
• Ensure lab safety and operational compliance
• Maintain accurate inventory of supplies and equipment
Requirements:
• Current registration as an RN or RPN with the CNO
• Completion of a BScN or Practical Nursing Program
• Minimum five years of clinical nursing experience
• Strong organizational and planning abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office and communication
