CAPE, a forward-thinking union, seeks an Education Officer responsible for enhancing educational offerings for union members. This one-year contract position requires an advanced degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience. You will coordinate innovative training programs in collaboration with unions, ensuring robust knowledge transfer and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the development and evaluation of education programs
• Manage and coordinate training requests for CAPE employees
• Deliver training on governance topics for CAPE’s NEC
• Collaborate with external stakeholders for education initiatives
• Design and propose knowledge-sharing events for members
Requirements:
• Degree in labour relations or related fields; advanced degree preferred
• 4 to 7 years’ experience in union program development
• Bilingual in French and English essential
• Strong knowledge of labour laws and union practices
• Excellent project management and critical thinking abilities
