Requirements:
Maîtrise en musique ou l'équivalent; expérience importante comme musicien violoniste; grande connaissance du répertoire d'orchestre; membre d’un d'orchestre de renom préférablement dans un poste de violon solo (violon solo associé, assistant violon solo, solo invité); expérience de l'enseignement au niveau universitaire. / Master's degree in music or equivalent; extensive experience as an orchestral violinist; knowledge of orchestral repertoire; experience in and current involvement in a major orchestra, preferably at a leading post (such as concertmaster, associate or assistant concertmaster, principal or assistant principal);
experience in teaching at university level.

An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
