:Understanding users’ behaviours, needs, motivations and challenges in user experience (UX);
Common user research methods including interviews, surveys, focus groups, contextual inquiries;
Principles and guidelines for generative & evaluative research; methods in qualitative and quantitative user research;
Tools and techniques for in-person and remote research, and moderated vs automated approaches; heuristic evaluations and usability testing.

Requirements:
The priority will be given to applicants who have a PhD in Psychology, or related Discipline with a thesis in User Experience (UX). Applicants must have three to five years industry experience demonstrating mastery of current practice and theory in all aspects of user research as it relates to UX design. Expert knowledge of user behavior theories and common user research methods, including tools and techniques for research, evaluation and testing.
Applicants must have significant experience managing and mentoring multi-disciplinary user research projects involving individuals with diverse backgrounds (technology, psychology, creative arts, management).

An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
