ENL Teacher Position

Position: Full-Time ENL Teacher Position
Join Voorheesville Central School District as a full-time ENL Teacher. Engage with diverse learners and implement targeted instruction to help students excel in English proficiency.

The district is looking for a dedicated ENL Teacher to support K-12 students in developing their English language skills. Collaborating with classroom teachers, you'll create individualized learning goals and monitor students' progress using data. Strengthening the ENL program in cooperation with the Director of Curriculum and maintaining connections with ELL families are essential to this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create individualized language goals for students

• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers

• Strengthen the ENL program with the Director of Curriculum

• Administer state assessments and evaluate results

• Serve as a liaison for ELL families

Requirements:

• Submit a letter of interest outlining qualifications

• Must possess a New York State TESOL certification

• Preferred experience with various age groups

• Comprehensive understanding of NYSED’s ELA Standards
