The University of Ottawa is seeking a qualified part-time educator for the Chemistry course (PED 4125) aimed at Senior Division students. This role involves developing programs, analyzing teaching strategies, and implementing evaluation techniques tailored for chemistry instruction. Key Responsibilities:
• Design curriculum aligned with Ontario's educational standards
• Facilitate hybrid learning combining in-person and distance education
• Implement evaluation techniques specific to chemistry
• Instruct students in advanced chemistry concepts
• Foster a supportive learning environment through individualized strategies
Requirements:
• Master's degree in education;
PhD preferred
• Ontario Teaching Certification for Intermediate/Senior levels
• Recent teaching experience in chemistry at K-12
• Knowledge of Ontario Curriculum and ethical standards
• Familiarity with evaluation methods for science education
