Overview
Join the University of Ottawa as a Part-Time Professor for ESL 130 this Fall 2026. Shape students’ English skills through innovative teaching and engage them in critical thinking activities. The Faculty of Arts is hiring a Part-time ESL Instructor for the upcoming semester, aimed at supporting academic enhancement in English.
Responsibilities- Instruct students in ESL 130 course content
- Develop critical thinking through debates and presentations
- Enhance student proficiency in reading and writing
- Schedule classes Monday to Friday between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM
- Work collaboratively in team-teaching environments
- Masters degree in a relevant field
- Two years of ESL teaching experience
- Previous teaching of ESL courses required
- TESL Certification or equivalent necessary
- Position requires in-person teaching on Main Campus
