Join the academic community as a part-time Professor for IPA 2528 in Ottawa. In this in-class course, you will lead discussions on critical listening and group member engagement for Fall 2026.
Scheduled for Thursdays from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM, the course will cover advanced skills in listening and group dynamics within the context of Human Sciences and Philosophy.
Your role will empower students with techniques such as paraphrasing and feedback, creating a rich educational environment that respects diverse perspectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the IPA 2528 course for students
• Guide discussions on empathy and congruence
• Assess student projects and participation
• Employ techniques for effective group communication
• Adapt teaching methods to diverse student needs
Requirements:
• Strong foundation in group facilitation techniques
• Relevant leadership experience in educational settings
• Comfortable with the second official language
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity skills
• Familiarity with digital teaching tools
