Exploration of global linguistic diversity and hybridity; applications of sociolinguistic approaches to the comparative study of topics of such as: language relations, minority or lesser-used languages, languages in the media and popular culture, histories of languages, dialects, language politics and policies, and intercultural translation

Requirements:

Doctorat dans un domaine des langues et littératures du monde, ou équivalent. Expérience universitaire requise. Expertise dans les domaines suivants : enseignement des langues, littératures, cinémas et autres expressions culturelles de différentes régions du monde ; diversité et politiques linguistiques, langues minoritaires, langues dans les médias et la culture populaire, et traduction interculturelle. Bilingue.

PhD in a field of world languages and literatures, or equivalent. University experience required. Expertise in the following areas: teaching of languages, literatures, cinemas, and other cultural expressions from different regions of the world; linguistic diversity and policies, minority languages, languages in the media and popular culture, and intercultural translation. Bilingual.

This course will be offered in person.

An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
