:A study of Yiddish culture, cinema and literature in its major and minor centres worldwide. Discussion of key cultural concepts and major themes in Yiddish films and literary works as well as the social and cultural contexts behind their creation.

Requirements:
Maîtrise ou doctorat dans un champ pertinent. Expérience d'enseignement de la littérature yiddish. Bilingue français et anglais. Un haut niveau de la langue anglaise parlée et écrite sera un atout. / MA or Ph.D. in a relevant field. Experience in the teaching of Yiddish literature. Bilingual French and English. A high level of written and spoken English will be an asset.
