Position: ITA2911 - Intermediate Italian Instructor
Teach and refine speaking, reading, and writing in Italian as an Intermediate Italian Instructor. Engage students through diverse materials including literature, video, and conversation activities.
We are seeking an experienced instructor for the course ITA
2911 at the university level. The role requires a strong background in Italian language instruction and innovative virtual teaching strategies. Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Italian, with near-native proficiency, and experience in managing virtual content using platforms like Brightspace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-class exercises focusing on conversational skills

• Develop reading and writing assignments using various media

• Utilize literary and non-literary texts to enhance learning

• Create and manage virtual content for enhanced instruction

• Ensure a bilingual approach in French and English during classes
Requirements:

• M.A. in Italian or equivalent qualification

• Near-native proficiency in Italian

• Experience teaching Intermediate Italian at university

• Familiarity with Brightspace and virtual teaching applications

• Bilingual in French and English
