Éducation artistique à l'élémentaire (PED 3764)
Description: Étude de documents ministériels et pédagogiques, mise en œuvre des processus de créations et d'analyse critique en art dramatique, arts visuels, danse et musique, planification de situations d'apprentissage, adaptation des stratégies d'enseignement, intégration de la technologie, élab oration d'évaluations, valorisation de la diversité culturelle, et mise en perspective de l'art autochtone.
Responsibilities- Study ministerial and pedagogical documents supporting art education.
- Implement creative and critical analysis processes in drama, visual arts, dance, and music.
- Plan learning situations and units that respect students' psychomotor, cognitive, affective and social development.
- Adapt teaching and learning strategies for differentiated instruction and interdisciplinary integration.
- Integrate technology into arts instruction across levels.
- Develop assessment strategies and evaluate student learning.
- Value cultural diversity and consider special needs in lesson design.
- Place Indigenous art, contexts and creation processes into the curriculum.
- Master’s degree in education required; doctoral degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of full‑time teaching experience in a K–12 setting, or equivalent, with implementation of the Ontario curriculum in a subject related to the course.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the current Ontario Curriculum and relevant ministry documents.
- Proven ability to apply the profession's practice standards and the Ontario Teachers' Code of Ethics.
- Equivalence of experience or qualifications may be considered.
Passive proficiency in second language.
ScheduleFriday 14:30‑17:30, in-person (B‑type course).
