Position: Grade 4/5 English Prep Teaching Role
Join the Ottawa Catholic School Board as a Grade 4/5 English Preparation Teacher. This role seeks candidates dedicated to fostering academic success and inclusivity.

Qualified applicants must hold a standing with the Ontario College of Teachers and submit proof of Sexual Abuse Prevention Training. Salaries for this role are outlined in the OECTA Collective Agreement, starting at $51,234.00, effective September 1, 2025. Selected candidates will be contacted for interviews based on applications submitted.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate English literacy skills among students

• Design and implement lesson plans effectively

• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback

• Enhance classroom inclusivity and diversity

• Participate in school improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Registered with the Ontario College of Teachers

• Completed Sexual Abuse Prevention Training

• Original Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check (if necessary)

• Pastoral Letter if not on OT Roster

• Dedication to equitable teaching practices

Contribute to a supportive learning environment while teaching Grade 4/5 English with a focus on preparation and inclusion.
