Key Responsibilities:

• Design language goals responsive to student diversity

• Collaborate with classroom teachers on instruction

• Work with the Director of Curriculum to optimize the program

• Conduct and assess state-required assessments

• Act as a point of contact for ELL families

Requirements:

• Letter of interest highlighting candidate strengths

• NY State Teaching certificate in TESOL required

• Preferred experience engaging with all student age ranges

• In-depth knowledge of NYSED’s ELA Next Generation Standards
