Position: French Tutor for Grades 1-9 in Stittsville
Become a vital part of Oxford Learning Stittsville as a French Tutor, guiding students from basic phrases to fluent conversations in French. Teach during evenings and strengthen student skills.

In this part-time role, you will work with students from Grades 1 to 9, helping them improve through personalized, in-person instruction. The position necessitates a strong foundation in spoken and written French, with a willingness to commit until the end of the school term, and ideally through the summer months. Your support will play a crucial role in their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tutor up to three students of different levels simultaneously

• Utilize the Oxford Learning methodologies in your teaching

• Complete daily communication notes for student updates

• Organize and maintain a calm learning environment

• Participate in staff events and development opportunities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or similar experience in education

• Proven ability to teach/tutor French at a Grade 1-8 level

• Strong English and French communication abilities

• Experience with Grades 1-8 French core curriculum

• Comfortable with in-person teaching and student interactions
