Become a Teaching Assistant for the PSY Intro course at the University of Ottawa's Main Campus this Fall 2026 semester. Engage with students and gain valuable teaching experience in psychology.
This role requires a current MA or PhD candidate in Psychology, focused on supporting the PSY Intro course. You'll assist in grading, proctoring, and delivering essential in-person engagement with students. As a part-time position, you'll be expected to attend campus to fulfill your duties outlined by the course instructor.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with grading and marking student assignments
• Proctor exams and ensure academic integrity
• Prepare for and engage with students in class
• Perform in-person duties as required by instructors
• Support course logistics and administration
Requirements:
• Honours Bachelor’s in Psychology or equivalent
• Enrollment in a Master’s or PhD program in Psychology
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment
• Availability for in-person responsibilities
• Completion of mandatory training by the University
