Your role focuses on teaching Elementary Spanish II with a strong emphasis on grammar and vocabulary.
The University is looking for a student part-time professor to instruct the Elementary Spanish II course (ESP
1992) starting in January 2027. This position involves delivering engaging lectures, facilitating discussions, and enhancing students' fluency and grammar comprehension. Candidates should be pursuing a Ph.D. or M.A. in Spanish and should be proficient in teaching methodologies for foreign languages.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach core Spanish grammar and vocabulary skills
• Engage students with interactive exercises
• Conduct assessments to gauge student progress
• Create a supportive classroom atmosphere
• Collaborate with faculty on course objectives
Requirements:
• Near-native Spanish proficiency
• Excellent knowledge of ELE grammar (A1/A2)
• Active enrollment in graduate programs
• Experience teaching languages is advantageous
• Must be bilingual (French and English)
