As an Educational Assistant, you will work collaboratively with a dedicated school team under the guidance of the Principal. This full-time, term position involves supporting students with various exceptionalities, including assistance with academic tasks, physiotherapy, and yard duties. You will make a significant impact on students' lives through tailored educational programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students with Autism and developmental disabilities

• Support academic programs and participation in special activities

• Implement physiotherapy exercises and stretches

• Document and manage behavioural data effectively

• Perform yard duties and assist with toileting tasks

Requirements:

• Community college diploma in DSW, CYW, or equivalent

• 1-2 years' experience with special needs students

• First Aid/CPR Level C certification is an asset

• Training in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention preferred

• Strong computer and assistive technology skills
