Part-Time Academic English Instructor

Join the academic team as a part-time instructor for ESL 0110, focusing on academic English skills. Enhance student proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and listening from September to December.

The part-time instructor will work Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Responsibilities include developing classroom activities that foster the English language skills of 25 students through interactive dialogue and concise writing exercises. You'll revise skills and help students navigate academic texts effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create listening and reading comprehension exercises

• Facilitate engaging speaking activities

• Guide students in writing compound sentences

• Assist in developing coherent short paragraphs

• Analyze authentic passages for comprehension

Requirements:

• Relevant educational background in language instruction

• Experience in teaching ESL or related fields

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Capacity to manage diverse learner needs

• Experience with curriculum development preferred
