Position: Educational Assistant System Support Needed
Join the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board as a Secondary Itinerant Educational Assistant and play a vital role in supporting student well-being across multiple schools. This full-time position focuses on collaborative support, enhancing both faculty and student experiences.

As a system support Educational Assistant, you will work closely with school teams to implement Tier 1 and Tier 2 interventions. Your skills in coaching, resource development, and facilitating workshops will directly contribute to student success and a positive learning environment. Expect to travel between schools and engage in various professional learning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Model strategies and build staff capacity

• Facilitate social-emotional skills development

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams

• Create and present learning workshops

• Travel to various schools for support

Requirements:

• Child and Youth Worker diploma or equivalent

• 5 years of experience in mental health support

• Background with Autism and special needs

• Up-to-date First Aid and CPR training

• Valid driver's license and vehicle access
