The Educational Assistant role at M.F. McHugh Education Centre spans from August 31, 2026, through June 24, 2027. You will provide crucial classroom support to students with diverse educational needs, focusing on intellectual disabilities, medical conditions, and self-regulation concerns. Key Responsibilities:
• Assist students with specific educational needs
• Support academic growth and personal development
• Address personal care and hygiene requirements
• Participate as a committed team member
• Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
• Hold a secondary school diploma
• Two‑year diploma or related degree preferred
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience
• Familiarity with PICS, PECS, or Braille advantageous
• CPR/First-Aid and additional training preferred
Contribute to the success of students with special needs at M.F. McHugh Education Centre.
