Position: Instructor for ESL 140 at University

The university is looking for an Instructor to teach ESL 140 from September 9 to December 11, 2026. This course emphasizes critical listening, reading, and writing skills necessary for academic success. Ideal candidates must hold a Master's degree in TESL or a related field and have at least two years of ESL teaching experience in higher education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-person instruction and student support

• Guide classroom discussions on various topics

• Regularly evaluate and report on student performance

• Foster an inclusive and motivational learning environment

• Integrate authentic materials to support language learning

Requirements:

• A Master's degree in second language teaching or TESL

• At least two years' experience in college/university ESL teaching

• Previous teaching experience in a related course

• Experience with collaborative teaching approaches

• TESL certification or its equivalent
