Position: Rockland ELL Educator Role
Location: Rockland

Shape the futures of students as an ELL Educator at Rockland District High and Intermediate Schools. Work closely with learners to foster their English skills and support teachers in achieving educational goals.

As an ELL Instructor under the Principal's supervision, you will assist students in mastering English while providing classroom management support.

Your role includes collaborating on individualized plans and assessments to ensure all learners succeed. Prior ESL teaching experience and a college education in a related field enhance your candidacy for this vital role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing and managing individualized educational plans

• Instruct students in both one-on-one and group settings

• Collaborate on assessment and reporting of student progress

• Maintain confidentiality of student records

• Participate in professional development for ELL instructors

Requirements:

• Diploma in child studies or equivalent

• ESL instruction experience preferred

• Excellent listening and communication skills

• Compassionate approach to diverse student needs

• Ability to adapt and work with minimal supervision
