Become a part-time instructor for the Interprofessional Health Care course (SAI 4120) at APTPUO beginning Winter 2027. This role focuses on teaching interprofessional competencies and enhancing patient safety through simulation.
The University of Ottawa is seeking a qualified part-time instructor for the Winter 2027 semester. The course will engage students in examining clinical situations through case-based scenarios in an interprofessional context. Candidates must have a Master of Science in Nursing and university-level teaching experience to effectively deliver course materials.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach students through case-based scenarios and simulations
• Facilitate interprofessional teamwork in clinical settings
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
• Assist in enhancing patient safety through course content
• Participate in mandatory training and institutional meetings
Requirements:
• Current registration as RN or NP with CNO
• MScN required with proven teaching experience
• Ability to meet institutional diversity and inclusion standards
• Adaptability to create an engaging learning environment
• Commitment to completing mandatory legislated training
