Position: Long Term Occasional Teacher OCSB
The Ottawa Catholic School Board is hiring a Long Term Occasional teacher for a Grade 5/6 English Blend position. This role provides essential coverage for a teacher on leave while promoting a supportive educational environment.

As a candidate, you must be in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers and have completed the Sexual Abuse Prevention Training through OCT. This long-term position offers a salary range from $51,234.00 to $ in accordance with the OECTA Collective Agreement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality teaching and support for Grade 5/6 students

• Prepare engaging lesson plans consistent with curriculum standards

• Maintain a respectful and inclusive classroom environment

• Collaborate with staff and support educational initiatives

• Ensure compliance with all safety and training requirements

Requirements:

• Valid Ontario College of Teachers certification

• Successful completion of Sexual Abuse Prevention Training

• Proven teaching experience in relevant grade levels

• Commitment to equitable and inclusive education practices

• Willingness to submit a recent vulnerable sector PRC
