The Ottawa Catholic School Board seeks a Library Technician for a 0.50 FTE role n Diego School. This position entails operating the Learning Commons, organizing special events, and performing essential administrative functions. You will utilize your technical skills to engage and support the school community effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the Learning Commons environment effectively
• Promote technology and literacy events for students
• Conduct administrative duties related to the library
• Oversee volunteer coordination and activities
• Perform additional tasks as directed by the supervisor
Requirements:
• Relevant degree or diploma in Library Technician/Information Science
• 2 years of related work experience required
• Knowledge of Insignia, Google Suite, and AV equipment
• Comfortable with emerging technologies and teaching tools
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
