Join the Continuing Education team as a Get SET Instructor focused on Childcare Training. We seek a committed leader with ESL knowledge and instructional experience.

The Get SET Instructor will guide adult learners in language acquisition under the Continuing Education Officer. This role demands strong organization skills, effective communication, and the ability to foster a respectful learning environment. You’ll leverage your expertise in ESL, Canadian Language Benchmarks, and adult education methodologies to equip learners in their language journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging instruction to adult ESL learners

• Develop a respectful and trusting classroom atmosphere

• Demonstrate strong presentation and communication skills

• Maintain all relevant certifications diligently

• Handle inquiries diplomatically and discreetly

Requirements:

• TESL Ontario Certification or equivalent qualifications

• Knowledge of adult education policies and board operations

• Excellent time management and organizational abilities

• Proficient interpersonal and communication skills

• Commitment to maintaining certifications over time
